Silmen’s DIY Shop provides multi-version Beech Wood Wooden Mallets to customers who have DIY projects which need softer mallets to protect their tools. You decide where to use them and how to use them.
As tools for LEATHER CARVING, and CHISEL USING, our wooden mallets are Light in weight but Reliable in quality.
The well polished handle provides crafters a comfortable hand feeling.
Basing on the sizes mallets handles, we have Normal Size Version, Short Handle Version (Bigger Head and Shorter Handle) and Enhanced Version (Extra Larger Mallet with Bigger Head and Longer Handle).
Basing on the treatments of the mallet surfaces, we have Natural Version, Waxed Version and Varnished Version .

- Natural Mallet Version: Polished, 100% natural, NOT Waterproof
- Varnished Mallet Version: Polished, Treated with Varnish on the surface, Waterproof
- Waxed Mallet Version: Polished, Treated with Wax on the surface, Waterproof.
- Normal Size Version (Varnished): approx. 300 mm x 70 mm x 50 mm. Weight: approx. 160 g.
- Short Handle Version (Natural/Waxed): approx. 260 mm x 80 mm x 55 mm. Weight: approx. 185 g.
- Enhanced Version (Varnished): approx. 310 mm x 80 mm x 60 mm. Weight: approx. 207 g.
Attention
Waxed Version are waxed by me, the seller. I asked the manufacturer to provide this service but they
refused. So I bought quality wax oil and waxed these mallets then polished them. Please do not laugh at
them when receiving your orders.
