My name is Mei, and welcome to my online store.

My business started in 2018 and we sell at Amazon, eBay, Etsy and here.

Our value is Creativity+Possibility+DIY=Joy.

As an adult with autism, I have two master’s degrees from University of Leeds, but I still have suffered from a long-term depression and met social difficulties. So I choose to stay at home and sell things online. In the future, maybe I will open a small store in Leeds, but currently let me show up here.

Previously I was working in Tesco but now this is my only way to make a living. I failed to get a full-time job during the whole year of 2025 after I returned to Shanghai.

I had to leave my 20 European Polecats to a lady who lived in Leeds with many many ferrets, dogs and other animals. I promised her that I would never abandon my beloved European Polecats while Janine the kind lady promised to me that she would take care of my European Polecats and wait for my return.

I want to keep my promise, and it means that I must pay for it. A lot. I need at least £10000 to bring my European Polecats to China because the UK is not the previous one and she is closing the gate to people like me. If my European Polecats can move to China, we will reunite and rebuild our relationship. We all love each other. My love to my European Polecats turns to the power to design and make harnesses for them and other small pets.

After leaving China for 4 years, everything changes. My parents separated because my dad had serious mental problems and he was very selfish. 

In the past 30 years, he deeply hurt us. He was a man who enjoyed domestic violence. The old saying…people can’t be changed…correct!!! When I was a baby, he started hitting my mother and me. He made me believe that most men were bad and dangerous. 

And unfortunately I met a long-period of school bullying since I entered kindergarten. I was so different that I couldn’t join any children teams. I was lonely and then my grandparents tried to make me happy. They took some pets home. I love birds and roosters! Having pets became very important in my life. 

Later I became a fan of DIY. My grandpa was an experienced repairman and in my eyes he knew everything. My grandpa made many toys for me and I was always watching his making process. That was so cool! I could do it, too! He taught, I learnt. I appreciate it that my grandpa was a nice gentleman and he never hurt me.

I was good at making leather items before my depression got worse and then I realized that I could sell some tools and accessories. I enjoy and miss the peaceful moments when doing things with my European Polecats. We are a big pack! One human with 10 hobs and 10 jills!

This store and my little friends cure me, and its soul is DIY.
